A man was detained at Ustyluh BCP at the attempt to bribe a border guard.

The offender planned that the money would facilitate the illegal crossing of the Ukrainian-Polish border. However, the officers of the Internal Investigations Department of the Volyn Border Guard Detachment in cooperation with the detectives of the National Police Investigation Department and National Police Internal Investigations Department in the Volyn Region had detained the briber immediately after handing over the money.

Currently, the procedure of notifying suspicion and electing preventive measure for the defendant is in process.

The exposure of the bribe-giver was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Volyn Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Military and Defense Sphere of the Western Region.
