Just before the weekend, the border guards of “Sianky” border guard division, Mostyska border guard detachment, detained a group of illegal migrants who were trying to get to Poland.

The information about 5 strangers of Asian appearance was given by the local inhabitant. He informed about a vehicle which transported them to the boundary of a village Sianky. In the course of search measures conducted, border guards have detected and detained the vehicle. The driver and the passenger appeared to be the citizens of Lviv oblast without any documents. Soon the rapid response team detained 5 “travelers” at a distance of 1 km from the state border. The violators had Libyan passports and a GPS navigator. As it was clarified later, they intended to get to Germany.

All the violators are called to administrative responsibility and now the court will resolve on their further destiny.
