Yesterday, on the 20th of February, russian occupation forces continued shelling the border of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy attacked using mortars and barrel artillery. The Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Bilopillia and Esman communities of Sumy region and the Snovsk and Horodnia communities of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

In the morning, the enemy covered the territory of the Bilopillia community with mortars from the russian settlement of zaria, eight hits were counted.

Later, the russian occupiers almost simultaneously shelled the territories of the Krasnopillia and Yunakivka communities with mortars, one and six explosions were heard respectively. The fire came from the russian settlements of pryliesie and oleshnia.

On the border of the Snovsk community, the enemy opened fire from self-propelled artillery systems, 82-mm mortars and 120-mm mortars three times a day from the settlements of rakovka, chornozemnyi horodok and novyi sviet - 12 explosions were recorded.

Seventeen explosions from artillery shells fired from the area of the russian settlement of rakovka were heard in the border area of the Horodnia community.

Late in the evening, the enemy fired 120 mm mortars at the Esman territorial community from the direction of the settlement of krugla poliana - 5 hits were recorded.
