Yesterday, February 18, the russian occupying forces continued shelling the border of Sumy region.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars and barrel artillery. The Khotin, Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda and Putyvl communities came under enemy fire.

In the first half of the day, the enemy shelled the territory of the Khotin community with 122 mm barrel artillery from the russian settlement of uspienovka, there were more than half a dozen explosions.

One and a half dozen 120-mm mines were fired by the enemy along the border of the Nova Sloboda community from the side of the aliekseievka settlement.

In the afternoon, the Putyvl community came under mortar fire from the russian village of dronivka, there were more than a dozen explosions.

During the day, the russian occupiers also shelled the territory of the Bilopilla community in one case with 122 mm barrel artillery, and in four cases with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. In total, there were more than two and a half dozen explosions from shell bursts and almost four dozen – from mines. The fire came from the russian settlements of zaria and volfino. As a result of the mortar shelling of the community settlements, in one of them half a dozen households were damaged, three houses became uninhabitable, and one car was damaged.
