Yesterday, January 18, the russian occupation forces continued shelling the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars. The Krasnopillia and Shalyhyne communities of Sumy region and Novhorod-Siverskyi of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

In the morning, the russian occupiers shelled the territory of the Krasnopillia community with mortars, there were half a dozen explosions. The fire started from the russian settlement of viazove.

At the same time, the Novhorod-Siverskyi community was also under mortar fire, 11 mines of 120 mm caliber were fired by the enemy from the direction of the village of hudovka.

In the afternoon, the enemy used 15 mines of 120 mm caliber to inflict fire damage from the area of the village of anatoliivka along the border of Shalyhyne community.

Fortunately, in all cases there were no casualties or damage.
