Yesterday, on 12-th of January, russian occupation forces continued to attack by fire the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars. Seredyna-Buda and Esman communities of Sumy region and Horodnia and Semenivka communities of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

In the morning on 12-th of January, the enemy fired using mortar from the side of  chornozemnyi horodok village along the border area of Horodnia community - 7 explosions were counted.

Later, mortar shelling was recorded from the area of the russian village of brovnychi at the border area of Semenivka community - 12 explosions were heard.

The Esman community was fired twice by russian troops from the area of the settlement of troiebortne – totally 14-th explosions were counted.

Late in the evening, 7 mines, discharged by the enemy from the area of the russian settlement of strachovo, exploded at Seredyna-Buda community border area.

In all cases there were no victims and destruction.

The Defence Forces continue to protect Ukraine from russian invaders.
