Yesterday, January 10, russian occupation forces continued shelling the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars and barrel artillery. The communities of Velikopysarivka and Esman of Sumy region and Horodnya – Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

In the morning, the russians covered the territory of the Velikopysarivka community with barrel artillery of 152 mm caliber, about a dozen explosions were heard from bursting shells. The fire started from the russian settlement of kozinka.

The enemy tried to hit the Horodnya community with 120-mm mines from the area of the village of chernozemny horodok – 21 explosions were recorded.

On the border area of the Esman community, the russians fired 152-mm barrel artillery from the settlement lokot – 21 explosions were recorded.

In addition, the occupiers from the russian settlement of bairak fired 120 mm mortars at the territory of the Zolochiv community of the Kharkiv region, which is on the border with the Sumy region. There were counted about half a dozen explosions. As a result of shelling, warehouses of a private farm were damaged.

The Defense Forces continue to protect Ukraine from russian invaders.
