Yesterday, on December 27, russian occupation troops continued shelling the frontier area of Sumy oblast.

The enemy inflicted fire using mortars. Shalyhyne and Esman communities of Sumy oblast came under enemy fire.

In the first half of the day, the enemy fired mortar shells at Shalyhyne community 10 mines of 120 mm caliber were fired from the area of the settlement of stara mykolaivka.

In the afternoon the russians fired 3 mines of 120 mm caliber on the frontier area of the Esman community from the area of troebortne settlement. One of the shells hit the house of local residents. The house was destroyed. Fortunately, people managed to take shelter.

The Defense Forces continue to defend Ukraine from russian invaders.
