Yesterday, on 16-th of October, Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia and Bilopollia border communities of Sumy region came under fire from the territory of the russian federation.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using air missiles, MLRS, mortars and small arms.

In the afternoon, the occupiers covered the territory of Velyka Pysarivka community with MLRS «Grad» from the russian settlement of zariechie, more than a dozen explosions were heard. Subsequently, two helicopters launched a total of two dozen rockets from the territory of russia, which exploded on the outskirts of one of the settlements of the same community.

Subsequently, the enemy attacked by fire the territory of Bilopillia community with 120-mm mortars, more than a quarter of a hundred explosions were heard. The fire was coming from the russian settlement of krasnooktiabrskyi. As a result of bombardments, a critical infrastructure object was damaged.

In the evening, the invaders from their territory attacked by fire the border of Krasnopillia community with machine guns, several rounds were heard. Fortunately, there were no victims.

The Defence Forces continue to protect Ukraine from russian invaders.
