The enemy continues to shell the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions

Yesterday, August 27, the russian occupying forces continued their criminal tactics - shelling the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars, barrel artillery and MLRS.

Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Khotin, Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Shalyhine, Znob-Novhorod communities of Sumy region and Novhorod Siverskyi community of Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.

In the afternoon, the enemy fired twice from a 120-mm mortar on the territory of the Khotin community, in total more than three dozen explosions were recorded.

The enemy fired from the russian settlements of nikolayevo-daryino and uspenivka. Almost at the same time, the occupiers hit the territory of the Myropil community with 122-mm barrel artillery, more than ten shell explosions were recorded. The enemy fired from the russian settlement of guevo.

Later, the enemy from the russian settlement of grafovka covered the territory of the Krasnopillia community with 120-mm mortars, about three dozen explosions were counted.

Three times a day, from the russian settlement of tyotkino, the russians shelled the territory of the Bilopillia community with 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, in total, almost nine dozen mines landed. As a result of the enemy shelling of one of the settlements of the community, civilian infrastructure was destroyed and damaged: school, kindergarten, school dormitory, post office, shop and other buildings, including private houses.

The territorial community of Nova Sloboda was fired upon by the enemy from barrel artillery and MLRS, 3 and 36 explosions were recorded, respectively.

The territory of the Shalyhine and Znob-Novhorod communities were under mortar shelling, 25 and 5 explosions were recorded, respectively.

The enemy shelled the territory of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community with barrel artillery and mortars, 20 and 23 explosions were recorded, respectively.

The Defense Forces continue to protect Ukraine from russian invaders.
