On 26 March, over 76 thousand people and nearly 16 thousand vehicles crossed the state border of Ukraine with the EU and the Republic of Moldova.

The data indicate that passenger traffic at the western border has increased by 10 thousand people compared to the previous day.

In the last 24 hours, over 49 thousand people left Ukraine. Over 30 thousand of them crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border.  We recommend that you consider crossing the border to the EU at crossing points with Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and the Republic of Moldova.

In the last 24 hours, over 27 thousand people arrived in Ukraine, over 22 thousand of whom are Ukrainians. Most of them are men who are ready to defend our Homeland, weapon in hand. We are grateful to our compatriots! Overall, since the beginning of the overt armed aggression,  nearly 442 thousand of our countrymen have returned to Ukraine.

We remind you that all checkpoints at the western border (except “Dzvinkove”) are open around the clock. In addition to clearance of people and vehicles, border guards, together with customs officers, also handle humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian army and our compatriots. In the last 24 hours, 900 vehicles with humanitarian aid were processed at the western border crossings.

We recommend that you monitor the density of the checkpoints traffic for the border crossing to the EU and the Republic of Moldova (in the Bukovyna region) by following the Facebook page of the  Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service - Western border. The information is updated every two hours

We urge all citizens at the border to respect law and order, queuing procedures, and morality norms while crossing the border and not to offer bribes to border guards for exceptional or illegal border crossing!
