On 22 March, over 63 thousand people and nearly 12 thousand vehicles crossed the state border of Ukraine with the EU and the Republic of Moldova.

The data from the past few days indicate that passenger traffic at the western border has stabilized and fluctuates between 60-65,000 people per day.

In the last 24 hours, over 45 thousand people left Ukraine. Over 30 thousand of them crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border.  We would like to remind you that crossing the border to the EU can also be done at crossing points with Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and the Republic of Moldova. Currently, there are no queues for pedestrians and vehicles.

In the last 24 hours, over 18 thousand people arrived in Ukraine, over 15 thousand of whom are Ukrainians. Most of them are men who are ready to join the ranks of our Homeland defenders. We are grateful to our compatriots! Overall, since the beginning of the overt armed aggression,  nearly 370 thousand of our countrymen have returned to Ukraine.

We recommend that you monitor the density of the checkpoints traffic for the border crossing to the EU and the Republic of Moldova (in the Bukovyna region) by following the Facebook page of the  Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service - Western border. The information is updated every two hours.

We remind you that all checkpoints at the western border (except “Dzvinkove”) are open around the clock. In addition to clearance of people and vehicles, border guards, together with customs officers, also handle humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian army and our compatriots. In the last 24 hours, 750 vehicles with humanitarian aid were processed at the western border crossings.

We urge all citizens at the border to respect law and order, queuing procedures, and morality norms while crossing the border and not to offer bribes to border guards for exceptional or illegal border crossing!
