During the day, border guards of the Chop Detachment detained near the Palad Komarivtsi village three groups of offenders who were trying illegally to enter Slovakia.

The detainees, 10 men of call-up age and 2 women, were residents – citizens of Ukraine. One of the groups was detected thanks to technical means, the other two – during patrolling of the border areas.

Another three violators were detained the night before by border guards of the Onokivtsi Department.  One of them was found by a service dog, the other two were detected by an alarm complex. The detainees, a resident of Lutsk and two residents of Kyiv region, were trying to get to Slovakia in the dark.

All offenders were taken to the border guard units. After establishing the circumstances of the case, they will be brought to justice.
