Recently, the cases of crossing the western border sector by Ukrainians, inhabitants of Crimean Peninsula, for further refugee status gaining become more frequent.

In fact, 14 other citizens from Simferopol, Alushta and Yeupatoria followed to Poland via BCP “Shegyni” yesterday. In the course of border checks they told they had no desire to reside at the occupied territory and were afraid that violence could be used against them. Border guards of Mostyska border guard detachment informed their Polish colleagues on that fact and took measures to promote the travelers.

During the last 2 weeks, about 65 persons looking for asylum in Poland crossed the state border within the Mostyska detachment border sector.
