On June 2, 2021, at night, border guards of Solotvino section of Mukachevo Border Guard Detachment detected a large consignment of tobacco products in Transcarpathia near the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

Thus, in the morning, at about 2 o'clock, the border patrol noticed a group of people while monitoring the bank of the Tysa River. The criminals ignored the legal demands of the servicemen and fled, taking advantage of a significant separation from the border guards.

While searching the area, where unknown people were noticed, border guards found 26 boxes of tobacco products wrapped in polyethylene. In total, the offenders planned to deliver 13 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps to Romania.
