Recently at the Uzhhorod border crossing point, the border patrol of Chop BG detachment detected a consignment of amber, which a 55-year-old Ukrainian citizen was secretly trying to transport to Slovakia. During a joint inspection of a Ford minibus with customs officers on its way out of Ukraine, law enforcement officers found a bag with stones under the driver's seat. There were 2.2 kg of amber. The stones of different colors and sizes were packed in two plastic packets and hidden among personal belongings.
