The passenger-transportation movement remains very intensive at the entry-exit checkpoints, which are situated on the demarcation line. The most intensive movement was through “Novotroitske” and “Marinka” entry-exit checkpoints. In other moving directions it was likewise more intensive in comparison with the one in the last twenty-four hours too.

Because of the accumulation of the vehicles and persons at “Marinka” and “Stanychno-Luhanske” entry-exit check points, the terms of passage procedures were extended.

Altogether the following number of persons and vehicles passed through the checkpoints: “Marinka” entry-exit checkpoint – 5900 persons and 1220 vehicles; “Novotroitske” entry-exit checkpoint – 6215 persons and 1555 vehicles; “Hnutove” entry-exit checkpoint – 2810 persons and 625 vehicles; “Stanychno-Luhanske” entry-exit checkpoint – 2705 persons.

We should remind that ATO headquarters took a decision to suspend the passage of persons and vehicles through “Marinka” entry-exit checkpoint temporary since twelve o'clock p.m., 17 February. This decision was taken because of the constant shelling of ATO forces in this area and the threat to lives and health of the movement participants, who go through the entry-exit checkpoint. Its work will be restarted after the stabilization of the situation.

This morning at “Novotroitske” entry-exit checkpoint 100 vehicles waited for the entry from the temporary uncontrolled territory and 80 vehicles waited for exit in order to cross the demarcation line. At “Hnutove” checkpoint the line for entry consisted of 30 vehicles, but it was absent in the reverse side.
