2003 - 2014: further development and formation

In history the fourth period is connected with the further development of border agency.
The main tasks of this period were:
improving the formation of the state border;
continuing the reformation process in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine;
performing tasks, that are provided by the development Concept of the State Border Guard Service till 2015 and implementation of the National Law Enforcement Program "Construction and reconstruction of state border".
During this time, a new organizational structure of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was introduced.
