Ukrainian and Romanian border guards detained a batch of tobacco smuggling in Transcarpathia

Recently, servicemen of Dilove Border Guard Detachment together with officers of the operative-search department of Mukachevo Detachment in coordination action with their Romanian colleagues, prevented transporting 32 packs of cigarettes across the state
The servicemen managed to prevent smuggling thanks to the operative exchange of information on detection of signs of possible illegal activities near the Tysa River, marking the border with Romania.
The result of joint search activities was the discovery by the Ukrainian side of 23 packages with 11.5 thousand packs of excise-free tobacco made in Belarus. Another 9 packages were detected by Romanian border guards.
Tobacco products were delivered to the border unit. The goods will be handed over to the SFS personnel.
