The first graduation of officers on NATO L-courses took place in the border higher education institution

The State Border Service of Ukraine is being reformed and rearmed according to EU and NATO standards.

In particular, at the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, significant attention is paid to the formation of leadership qualities of future border guards.

Today, the training of competent officers capable of making effective decisions is carried out taking into account the experience of deterring russian aggression and in accordance with work training programs, where NATO standards are directly implemented, namely: 1st course - L1A course; 2, 3, 4 courses - L1B course.

This year, the National Academy started conducting leadership courses with officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. And recently, the Academy hosted its first graduation of officers who graduated from the L-1C Tactical Command Course.

During this course, border guards gradually improved their military skills and language training, taking into account European and Euro-Atlantic standards and principles, modern views on the forms and methods of using troops. In particular, in addition to the aspects of border service, border control, general tactics, morale and psychological support, servicemen also acquired knowledge of the basics of artillery use, military decision making process (MDMP - Military decision making process), military leadership, maintaining the survivability and mobility of troops.

Also, during this year, the L-2 command and staff course will be implemented within the walls of the National Academy.
