Recently, servicemen of the Chernivtsi border detachment detained poachers.

Four men, including one minor without documents, were engaged in illegal hunting near the state border of Ukraine. Border guards found two hunting rifles in the poachers' car, and near the vehicle, they discovered the prey - a shot wild boar.

The adult poachers were handed over to the National Police along with a report on the identification of signs of a criminal offense.

As for the minor, after establishing his identity, he was spoken to and sent home.

It's important to note that the law prohibits hunting in the border area without informing the State Border Guard Service or its units. Furthermore, according to the Decision of the Council of Defense of Chernivtsi Region, hunting during the period of martial law is prohibited in the hunting grounds of Chernivtsi Region, with the exception of regulating the population of certain types of animals while complying with the requirements of current Ukrainian legislation.
