At the Separate Border Guard Detachment "Kyiv," border guards discovered a Ukrainian citizen with two packages of narcotic substance.

During the vehicle inspection, the border guards' service dog trained to detect narcotics alerted. In the car trunk, officers found two packages weighing almost one and a half kilograms, likely containing narcotic crystalline substance referred to as "salt." Additionally, the man had zip-lock bags, presumably intended for packaging.

The vehicle was driven by a man born in 1996 residing in the capital. Border guards immediately informed the police, who will investigate the circumstances of the offense.

If the expertise confirms the discovered substance as narcotics, the man will face criminal liability.
