The long service locations of the border guard details (LSL) were returned to the river section of the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

April 10 pontoons were towed from storage sites to designated river locations.

Border guards have been using the LSL for several years in a row to protect the Danube border. The river section is quite specific, so in order to respond quickly to changes in the situation, the border guard details should be in the designated areas constantly.

It should be noted that in addition to proving border regime, the border guards service in this area also significantly helps to fight against violators of environmental legislation. Just a few days ago the World Fund for Nature Ukraine expressed its gratitude to the border guards of the Vilkove Division, Izmail Detachment, for its persistent and effective work to ensure the implementation of environmental legislation in the field of natural resources use.
