Border guards of the Bіlhorod-Dnistrovskyi Border Guard Detachment together with police and officers of the Rozdilna local prosecutor's office detained two Ukrainian citizens, a woman and a man, near the border with Moldova.

A joint interdepartmental group during the realization of operational information received by representatives of the border operational and search unit stopped a “couple” near the central sector of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border near the village of Rozalivka, in the Rozdilna district of the Odessa region.

Police found that a woman born in 1992 agreed to illegally transfer a 26-year-old man between the border crossing points to Moldova for a fee.

Detention measures were carried out as part of criminal proceedings filed with the Unified Register оf Pre-Trial Investigations under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine”, the message about which was sent by officers of the border operational and search unit of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Border Guard Detachment.

There is an investigation onto this case.
