As it has already been reported, the State Border Guard Service personnel together with representatives of the sanitary-quarantine unit are meeting evacuation trains.

At present, four such trains have already arrived from Polish Przemysl. In total, more than 2,400 Ukrainian citizens have returned by those trains.

Immediately upon arrival, border guards and representatives of the sanitary quarantine unit got into the carriages. They took passengers’ temperature, it was within normal limits, there were no complaints as to the passengers’ well-being. A health survey was also conducted, and everyone was given the leaflets. Each passenger signed a voluntary agreement to carry out anti-epidemic and preventive measures.

It should be noted that another train from Przemysl is expected to arrive today. In addition, two more such trains to evacuate our citizens are scheduled for tomorrow.

It should be reminded that evacuation of Ukrainians from Poland was organized by jointly coordinated efforts of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ukrzaliznytsia.

We would like to add that according to decision of the Government of Ukraine, railway, air and automobile (buses) border crossing points are temporarily closed for international passengers. However, governmental bodies organize special flights returning Ukrainians from abroad and foreigners to their countries. Such flights have already been actively operated by planes, and henceforth by trains.
