Seventy-four people had crossed the border here by 8 am.

The State Border Guard Service resumed the work of this checkpoint as soon as it became possible on the Polish side.

It must be recalled that on May 20, the Government of Ukraine decided to resume the work of all checkpoints on the border with the EU and Moldova. The Ukrainian side is ready to resume international traffic at those checkpoints where a neighboring country is ready to do so.

For example, passes are not carried out at the checkpoints of “Smilnytsia”, “Uhryniv” and “Ustyluh” on the border with Poland. Ukrainian border guards are ready to resume the work of these checkpoints as soon as the checkpoints of “Krostenko”, “Dolhobychuv” and “Zosin” open on the Polish side, respectively.

The currently functioning checkpoints on the border with the EU countries make it possible to ensure the rhythmic passage of the existing passenger traffic. At 6 am today, there are no queues in front of the checkpoints on the border with EU countries.
