Due to the introduction of anti-epidemic measures and restrictions on border crossings, the State Border Guard Service personnel is constantly monitoring the situation at the state border.

Currently, measures are being taken to ensure the transportation and registration of Ukrainian citizens who are on the adjacent side without vehicles.

Thus, in cooperation with the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, the State Customs Service, the border guards of Chop and Mukachevo Border Guard Detachments organized and provided transportation for more than 300 persons from the border with Slovakia and Hungary.

Travelers are transported by minibuses directly from the border to the border crossing points where they pass through border and customs control. Measures aimed at identifying signs of a viral disease are carried out in full. In addition, all persons fill out a written commitment form for self-isolation and contact their family doctor upon arrival at the place of residence.

These measures are not suspended, information on presence of our citizens on the adjacent side is constantly updated in the framework of cooperation with European partners through the border-representative apparatus.

As it became known to the border guards, a number of Hungarian and Slovak enterprises, where Ukrainians worked, temporarily ceased their activities, resulting in a significant number of our citizens returning to Ukraine.
