The participants discussed ensuring compliance with human rights during the application of border legislation to offenders, monitoring temporary detention facilities for offenders, and providing offenders with access to legal assistance.

"For us, it is important in working with this category of citizens to observe human rights, as defined by international conventions and domestic legislation, as Ukraine is a legal state where democratic principles are valued," said Brigadier General Yurii Petriv.
