At "Yahodyn" BCP border guards expose fake marriage
BACKDuring the border checks of passengers on the "Kyiv-Helm" train, border guards of the Volyn border guard detachment stopped an attempt of illegal border crossing by a 24-year-old resident of Dnipropetrovsk region traveling to Poland through the "Yahodyn-railway station" BCP.
The man intended to leave the country using documents for accompanying a person with disabilities. He presented the inspector with the relevant papers and a marriage certificate. Upon scrutinizing the documents and interviewing the 'spouses,' the border guards discovered that their union was fictitious. Apparently, by marrying a 34-year-old woman with a disability, the man hoped to cross the border smoothly, but his plan didn't succeed.
The border guards reported the discovery of signs of a criminal offense to the representatives of the National Police.
